Tulsa's Best Personal Injury Attorneys

  • Takes the insurance company off your phone the moment you hire us, so you can focus on treatment instead of fielding adjuster calls.

  • Preserves evidence immediately — before surveillance video is overwritten, vehicles are repaired, or trucking companies purge their logs.

  • Identifies every source of coverage, including underinsured motorist and umbrella policies adjusters rarely mention on their own.

How Long Do You Have in Oklahoma?

  • Most personal injury claims — two years from the date of injury (12 O.S. § 95(A)(3)).
  • Wrongful death — two years from the date of death (12 O.S. § 1053).
  • Assault, battery, libel, slander, malicious prosecution, and false imprisonment — one year (12 O.S. § 95(A)(4)).

Claims against a city, county, the State of Oklahoma, or another government entity are different and far shorter. Under the Governmental Tort Claims Act, written notice must be presented to the entity within one year of the loss (51 O.S. § 156). If the entity does not approve the claim in full within 90 days, the claim is deemed denied — and suit generally must be filed within 180 days after that denial (51 O.S. § 157). Miss the notice step and the claim is barred no matter how serious the injury.

Personal Injury FAQ

What is my case worth?

Any lawyer who gives you a number in the first phone call is guessing. Value depends on the severity and permanence of the injury, the medical treatment and its cost, lost income, the clarity of liability, and — often decisively — the available insurance coverage.

Should I give the insurance company a recorded statement?

Not before you have talked to a lawyer. You generally have no obligation to give a recorded statement to the other driver's insurer, and the statement exists to be used against you later.

The adjuster already offered me money. Should I take it?

Not before someone independent looks at it. Early offers arrive before you know the full extent of your injuries, and accepting one means signing a release that ends the claim permanently.

I do not have health insurance. Can I still get treatment?

Usually yes. There are providers who will treat injury patients on a lien basis, meaning they are paid out of the eventual recovery rather than up front.

The driver who hit me had no insurance. Do I have a claim?

Possibly a significant one. Oklahoma drivers frequently carry uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage, which pays when the at-fault driver has none or not enough. Send us your declarations page and we will read it for you.

"Initially, the insurance company convinced me to accept $750. I called Zach just in time — he got me the maximum liability payout, plus underinsured motorist coverage from my own policy. What started as a $750 offer turned into almost $100,000."
